Manager Finance, Ultrasound & EI (Cambridge, MA) The Manager Finance, Ultrasound & Enterprise Informatics is responsible for partnering with the Finance Business Partner and business leaders to deliver the business’s financial objectives and commitments across the Commercial Market/Country. This commercially focused role monitors financial performance, analyzes results and defines corrective actions. The role supports strategic and tactical planning as well as annual and quarterly financial forecasts. Additionally, you will evaluate and shape commercial opportunities to ensure profitable growth and maintain compliance with financial policies and procedures. Your role: Support the financial planning and analysis of the North America commercial operations of two business units – Ultrasound (ULS) and Enterprise Informatics (EI). This includes developing the annual operating plan, quarterly forecasts and financial business cases, working cross‑functionally to analyze results, build forecasts, identify financial risks, mitigation strategies, and opportunities. Partner with Finance leadership to provide insights and guidance to enable profitable growth. Additionally, support profitability through detailed planning and tracking of cost drivers (headcount, incentives, allocated costs) and through identifying variances and taking actions to mitigate unfavorable impacts. Drive continuous improvement of financial processes, tools and systems by identifying gaps and contributing to cross‑functional initiatives. Ensure adherence to internal controls, corporate governance policies and regulatory requirements, while identifying areas for improvement in financial practices. Support the structuring of commercial opportunities and evaluation of proposals to meet profitability targets. Collaborate with Contracts, Legal and business leadership to shape financial terms and conditions of commercial agreements. Evaluate commercial proposals (commercial quote reviews) for financial profitability and collaborate with the sales and contracting teams to protect the company’s interests. Also collaborate with Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and Accounting to ensure accurate and complete financial reporting, evaluate results and build reporting presentations. Support design and execution of complex financial models to assess strategic options such as market entry, partnering on cross‑functional initiatives, ensuring financial goals are integrated into broader business strategies. You are the right fit if: 5+ years of finance experience and a Bachelor’s degree (or 3+ years with Master’s) in Business Partnering, Corporate Finance, Financial Planning & Analysis or a related field, preferably from a large multinational or Big 4 consultancy. Commercial background and ability to partner with management at all levels, lead major projects and initiatives, digest complex information, use data for trend analysis, balance speed and accuracy, and collaborate with multiple stakeholders. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting or an equivalent discipline. Philips Transparency Details The pay range for this position in Cambridge, MA is $130,000 to $206,000. The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including experience, business needs and location. In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, commission or long‑term incentives, may be offered.
