Maintenance Manager

Pay: $26.00 - $33.00 per hour. 2nd shift premium of $2/hour. Position: Maintenance Technician – 1st or 2nd Shift Operations. Responsibilities Assist with planning and implementing plant improvements and expansions. Create, schedule, and follow up maintenance assignments, breakdown work orders, Preventative Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Maintenance (PDM) work orders in CMMS (MP2). Perform Preventative Maintenance on equipment as required by the PM Program in accordance with ISO and electrical standards. Troubleshoot and repair problems with Programmable Logic Controllers and related components. Maintain required documentation and files for equipment, including prints and detailed information to document proper maintenance. Manage parts and material replenishment to reduce production downtime. Read, interpret, and modify electrical prints and schematics; document all changes. Work in explosion-proof and intrinsically safe environments; apply NEC and NFPA codes. Perform electrical installations with conduit and wiring practices. Use sensing and control devices (proximity switches, beam sensors, laser distance sensors). Operate DC and AC monitors, VG drives, and servo-controlled systems. Support and follow the Lock Out/Tag Out program. Adhere to ARC Flash and electrical shock prevention requirements. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree or two-year college technical training preferred. Three to five years of related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Completion of a blueprint reading course. Ability to write reports and correspond effectively. Proficiency with a variety of tools, equipment, and machines. Working knowledge of electrical wiring, electronic controls, PLC troubleshooting, machining, plumbing, hydraulics, and pneumatic systems. Physical Demand and Work Environment Regular use of hands and fingers to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and verbal communication are required. Frequently stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds. Visual acuity for close, distance, color, and peripheral vision is necessary.
