Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Room team. This role involves providing high-quality urgent and emergent care to a diverse patient population with various medical needs.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and prioritize patient conditions upon arrival to determine appropriate care.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes in patient status.
• Collaborate with physicians, emergency staff, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly utilizing electronic health records.
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families in stressful situations.

Qualifications:

• Hold an unencumbered Oregon RN license at the time of submission.
• Maintain current Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification.
• Obtain and maintain ACLS, TNCC, and PALS certifications.
• Preferably possess Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) credential.
• Demonstrate excellent assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
