Your Responsibilities

• Assess patients across pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics utilizing both standardized evaluations and observational strategies.
• Craft tailored treatment plans that align with immediate and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing objectives.
• Implement individualized speech therapy interventions targeting aspects such as communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to enhance patient-centered care.
• Educate patients and families to ensure they can support progress beyond clinical appointments.
• Participate in occasional inpatient speech therapy assessments and interventions, guaranteeing consistency in care throughout the patient journey.
• Keep meticulous and timely documentation in compliance with all relevant state, federal, and organizational regulations.
• Engage in continuing education and peer collaboration to stay abreast of advancements in the field.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is not yet obtained.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hiring.
