Telehealth Registered Dietitian, RD/RDN - Obesity Care

Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments via virtual/telehealth visits Provide Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) for obesity and related chronic conditions Develop individualized nutrition care plans Deliver nutrition education and counseling using motivational interviewing and behavior-change frameworks Support patient engagement through clear communication Escalate clinical concerns as appropriate Collaborate with physicians, NPs, health coaches, and care coordinators Participate in care planning and case reviews as needed Document encounters, assessments, and care plans in the EHR Use telehealth and patient engagement tools effectively Contribute to clinical program development, quality initiatives, and interdisciplinary care innovation as opportunities arise Requirements Active RD/RDN credential in good standing Active LD/LDN or CD/CDN license in state(s) of practice Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Nutrition/Dietetics or related field Clinical/ambulatory experience providing nutrition counseling or MNT (required) Experience with obesity/weight management/chronic conditions and telehealth (preferred) Strong patient-centered counseling and documentation skills Comfortable working in interdisciplinary teams Comfort with EHRs and telehealth platforms Reliable internet Private, HIPAA-compliant workspace Ability to maintain licensure standards and HIPAA compliance Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in conducting nutrition assessments and providing Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) for obesity and chronic conditions, while effectively utilizing telehealth tools and maintaining HIPAA compliance.
