Your Role and Responsibilities

• Performing thorough evaluations of patients, including ordering essential diagnostic tests and devising individualized care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in partnership with physicians or independently, contingent on credentials
• Guiding patients and their families on preventive measures, wellness practices, and effective disease management
• Prescribing appropriate medications and therapies in alignment with your specialty
• Engaging in follow-up care and chronic illness management
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure integrated, holistic patient care
• Meticulously documenting within electronic medical records (EMR)

Essential Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Credentials You Must Hold

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in Washington, D.C.
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to secure within 90 days)
