Job Description Job Description The Bookkeeper plays a crucial role within a small team of 1-3 members, supporting the financial health of the organization by managing accurate and timely bookkeeping tasks. This position reports directly to the Owner/CEO and focuses on general bookkeeping activities without any travel requirements. Responsibilities Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records Reconcile bank statements and accounts Manage invoicing and billing processes Process payroll efficiently and accurately Prepare financial reports and summaries Handle accounts payable and receivable tasks Track expenses and monitor bank transactions Maintain organized and up-to-date record keeping Required Qualifications 5+ years of bookkeeping experience Preferred Qualifications Associate degree in Accounting or a related field Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks and Xero Strong skills in data entry and financial reporting Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Effective time management and communication abilities Company Description ACOM is a home-grown telecommunications and security company based in Front Royal, Virginia.
