Position Overview We are seeking a motivated Finance Assistant to join our team. This role will support the Finance Team in managing billing, collections, and financial processes. The Finance Assistant will collaborate closely with attorneys, senior attorneys, and partners to address contract terms, collect payments, and assist with reconciliations and financial controls. Key Responsibilities Oversee the billing process to ensure accurate and timely client bills. Manage refunds and credits, including attorney sign-offs and identifying new case offerings. Conduct weekly reconciliations of collections between ERP and payment gateway. Identify clients requiring collection letters and manage follow-ups. Address and manage tags assigned to the Finance team for organization and accountability. Review open invoices for accurate debtor balances and follow up on discrepancies. Support the team in enhancing overall collections and financial processes. Develop effective working relationships with attorneys, staff, and clients. Required Qualifications 2-5 years of accounting experience. Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field. Proficiency in MS Excel. Strong mathematical and accounting aptitude. Excellent customer service skills and professional demeanor. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Salesforce. Experience with QuickBooks or Sage. Fluency in Spanish (reading, writing, speaking).
