Payroll Specialist

Must-Haves: 3-7 years of US payroll processing experience Strong knowledge of payroll laws, regulations, and payroll best practices Experience processing garnishments, child support, levies, and other payroll deductions Strong analytical and logical problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to follow documented Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Experience supporting payroll quality assurance and operational controls Collaborative team player with ability to work cross-functionally Plusses: Experience with internal audit compliance and payroll controls Experience handling payroll escalations and risk management Previous experience in payroll operations quality oversight Background supporting multiple payroll processing groups Day-to-Day: Support payroll processing teams to ensure accurate and timely payroll execution Review payroll results and validate payroll accuracy across pay groups Manage ad hoc payroll operations requests and deliverables Coordinate with payroll stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain quality standards Follow established SOPs and operational processes Participate in payroll quality assurance and process oversight activities Review daily transactions and ensure compliance with internal audit requirements Identify and communicate payroll risks to management Escalate operational concerns and provide regular status updates to leadership Perform additional payroll-related duties as assigned Job Description: Insight Global is seeking a Payroll QA Specialist for a leading payroll and workforce management organization.
