Responsibilities:

• Assist licensed physical therapists in the implementation of patient treatment plans, including exercises, stretches, and other interventions
• Conduct patient assessments, record data, and provide progress reports to physical therapists
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatment and progress
• Develop and implement individualized exercise programs for patients
• Assist with equipment setup and maintenance
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning
• Maintain a clean and organized treatment area

Requirements:

• Associate's degree or certificate in Physical Therapy Assisting
• Completion of a physical therapy assistant program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP)
• Minimum of 0 years of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant
• Florida state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Compassion, empathy, and dedication to providing high-quality patient care
