Maternal - Fetal Medicine Physician

Awell-established women's health program in Edison, New Jersey is seeking aLocums Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) Physician to provide comprehensivehigh-risk obstetrical care in a collaborative practice setting. Thisopportunity offers a predominantly outpatient schedule with limited inpatientresponsibilities and the support of an experienced multidisciplinary team.

Theideal candidate will have experience managing high-risk pregnancies, performingadvanced prenatal diagnostic procedures, and collaborating with obstetricproviders to optimize maternal and fetal outcomes.

Compensation : $350 Per Hour

PositionDetails

• Schedule: 5 Days per Week
• Hours: 8-Hour Days
• Practice Setting:
• Outpatient: 90%
• Inpatient: 10%
• Call Schedule: Remote Call, 1:3 Rotation

ClinicalResponsibilities

• Provide consultation and management for high-risk obstetrical patients
• Perform maternal-fetal medicine evaluations and follow-up visits
• Interpret and oversee advanced obstetrical ultrasounds
• Collaborate with OB/GYN physicians, primary care providers, and specialists
• Participate in inpatient consultations as needed
• Develop and manage treatment plans for complex maternal and fetal conditions
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

PatientVolume

• 5-6 Maternal-Fetal Medicine consults per day
• 20-25 ultrasounds per day

TeamStructure

• Work alongside 2 Maternal-Fetal Medicine physicians
• Collaborate with 2 Advanced Practice Providers
• Dedicated onsite clinical and administrative support staff

RequiredProcedures

Candidatesmust be comfortable performing:

• Chorionic Villus Sampling (CVS)
• Amniocentesis
• Advanced fetal ultrasound interpretation
• High-risk pregnancy consultations and management

Qualifications

• MD or DO required
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Maternal-Fetal Medicine experience required
• Fellowship training in Maternal-Fetal Medicine preferred but not required
• Active New Jersey medical license required
• Current DEA registration required
• Current CDS registration required
