Job Title

RN - Surgical Cardiac

Location

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | Every other weekend and every other holiday

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a surgical cardiac setting
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data for post-surgical cardiac patients
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa or compact state eligibility
• Current BLS certification
• Experience in surgical cardiac or telemetry nursing
• Ability to work night shifts, every other weekend, and every other holiday

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification
• Prior experience in a high-acuity cardiac or step-down unit
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring systems and cardiac rhythms
