Plastic Surgery- or Dermatology-Trained PA

Your Responsibilities

As our Physician Assistant (PA), you'll deliver compassionate, high-quality clinical care to patients navigating oculofacial conditions. You’ll help patients look better and feel better about themselves by treating them from the initial appointment to post-operative recovery to optimize functional outcomes and patient satisfaction. You’ll do things like:

• Conduct detailed patient evaluations, medical histories, and specialized ophthalmic physical examinations.
• Diagnose and manage conditions, such as eyelid malposition, orbital trauma, lesions, infections, and lacrimal disorders.
• Develop and implement treatment plans alongside supervising surgeons.
• Manage post-operative visits, wound checks, and suture removals.
• Administer cosmetic and medical injectables.
• Counsel patients on surgical expectations, post-op care, and skin/aesthetic maintenance.
• Maintain accurate charts in our electronic medical record system.
• Perform other duties as requested.

Required Certification and Licensure

• Current PA-C credential/NCCPA board certification
• Active New Jersey PA license and controlled substance/DEA registration
• BLS certification

Required Education, Skills, & Experience

• Master’s degree from an accredited PA program.
• Three-year minimum clinical experience as a licensed PA.
• Prior experience in plastic surgery or dermatology highly preferred—willing to train the right candidate in oculofacial specialties
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent listening skills and cheerful
• Adaptable to different personality types
• Experience with tools for electronic health records required
• Bilingual preferred

Schedule & Location

This is a full-time position, approximately 40 hours per week. Your hours would normally be scheduled for times when the office is open for patients, or 9-5 Monday through Friday. All work will be done at our offices in Florham Park, New Jersey.

Hiring Process

Compensation and Benefits:

• Base Salary: $155,000 to $175,000 based on experience and specialized skills.
• Bonus Incentives: Revenue-generating bonus structure to be discussed
• Continuing Education: $3,000 annual CME allowance plus 4 paid days off for conferences.
• Professional Fees: 100% employer-covered malpractice insurance, NJ state license renewal, DEA registration, and NCCPA maintenance fees.
