Medical Assistant: Upscale, Concierge ENT/Facial Plastic and Allergy Practice located in Union County, NJ is seeking a full time, energetic, personable, team player and highly reliable Medical Assistant. Candidate must possess exceptional interpersonal skills, be extremely detail oriented and present themselves with the highest standard of professionalism. Prior ENT experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate. Requirements and responsibilities include, but not limited to:

. 2+ years of experience working in a practice or surgical setting, preferably an ENT practice

. Direct patient care and supportive medical assistant/nursing duties to assist provider(s) and staff members in patients' examination and treatment.

. Assist physician during office procedures.

. Act as surgical Liaison between Surgeon, Facility and Patient.

. Possess analytical and problem -solving skills.

. Computer skills to include use of EMR, Outlook and MS word.

. Handle patient call backs and prescription refills.

. Acquire authorizations from insurance companies for surgeries, testing and medications as necessary.

. Scheduling patients and review schedule to prepare for patient visit.

. Prepare laboratory specimens and provide pathology results for follow-up visits.

Administrative Duties:

. Scheduling

. Insurance Verification

. Answering phones

Clinical Duties:

. Sterilizing instruments

There is no traveling between offices. This position is, In Person, Monday through Friday.

Education:

. High School or equivalent (Preferred)
