Requirements

Current Registered Nurse license in the state

Current CPR/BLS certification

Experience in Endoscopy with proficiency in procedures including colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, PEG tube insertion, bronchoscopy, esophageal stenting, and pain procedures

Ability to perform moderate sedation

Experience with EPIC charting

Ability to admit and discharge patients in the perioperative area

Roles & Responsibilities

Assess patients to determine mental, physical, and spiritual needs

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans

Provide explanations and instructions to patients and responsible persons

Utilize clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient condition

Maintain complete and accurate medical records

Participate in continuing education to enhance professional development

Compliance / Notes

On-call requirements: 45 minutes call back time

Float to partner facilities as needed
