Translates strategic objectives into event plans, budgets, timelines, risk controls, communications, and evaluation measures; serves as a primary advisor to stakeholders; and directs vendors and volunteers through delivery. Without staff management responsibility, exercises advanced judgment, resolves varied issues, and improves event practices to maximize organizational impact. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in event management, communications, marketing, or a related field (Required) One year of relevant education may be substituted for one year of required work experience or one year of relevant professional-level work experience may be substituted for one year of required education. 5+ years of experience in event planning, donor relations, or a related field (Required) Demonstrated success independently leading complex, high-visibility, or multi-stakeholder events and resolving moderately complex issues. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy. Intermediate proficiency and experience using Microsoft Office Package (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook). Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required. Salary Range: Minimum 27.85/hour - Maximum 44.57/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
