WCS Healthcare is urgently seeking professionals for a Child Service Center in Albany, NY . This is a full-time, Monday–Friday opportunity supporting children ages 5–13 with emotional and behavioral needs.
Job Responsibilities
- Partner with the Master Teacher to implement IEP-driven instruction and individualized care plans
- Provide direct instruction, coaching, and behavioral support to students
- Support classroom management and crisis intervention using TCI-based practices
- Monitor student progress and communicate updates to the Care Plan Team
- Assist with classroom operations and student supervision, including classroom activities, cafeteria, and outdoor activities
- Collect and track behavioral and academic data
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities
- Provide limited coverage for the Master Teacher when needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- At least 2 years of experience in education, human services, or behavioral health
- Experience working with children with emotional and/or behavioral challenges
- TCI Certification required
- Willingness to obtain NYS Level 1 Teaching Assistant Certification within 90 days
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Ability to collect, track, and document student data
- Experience with AWARDS and/or NYS Connections preferred

Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
