Real Estate Finance & Development Associate

Position Overview Paul Hastings’ Real Estate Department is seeking an Associate with four to six years of experience to join its RE Finance and RE Development team in New York. Responsibilities Represent lenders on mortgage and subordinate commercial real estate loans, including mezzanine loans and preferred equity. Work on real estate acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, borrower‑side finance, and development transactions. Assist with construction lending or repurchase facilities, as needed. Draft major transactional documents such as joint venture agreements and loan agreements. Qualifications Four to six years of relevant experience in real estate finance or development. Excellent academic credentials and law firm experience. Must be admitted to the New York Bar. Strong drafting skills and ability to work independently in fast‑paced transactional environments. Compensation The salary wage range for this position is a minimum of $310,000 and a maximum of $420,000 annually, which may vary based on experience and other factors.
