Position Title Travel RN - Telemetry - Progressive Care Unit Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiac Stepdown/PCU position requiring 2+ years of specialty experience and NIH Stroke Certification. Details Work in the Cardiac Stepdown/PCU unit of a hospital environment 13-week travel assignment with night shift hours from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM Required to work every other weekend On-call responsibilities required Floating required as needed Start and Duration Start Date: ASAP Length: 13 weeks Openings: 2 Actual start date is typically 3-4 weeks from time the offer is received. Start dates are determined based on facility needs and credentialing requirements. Requirements Active RN license (TX or Compact) currently in hand - temporary licenses will not be accepted Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Minimum 2 years of hospital experience required Minimum 2 years of PCU/Stepdown specialty experience required Meditech EMR experience preferred Additional Information Provide nursing care to cardiac stepdown/telemetry patients Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered - no local candidates accepted Royal blue scrubs required for RNs Professional appearance standards apply including guidelines for nails, hair, tattoos, and piercings These details are based on information provided by the facility and may include inaccuracies or be subject to updates.
