Sales Project Manager Location: Dallas, TX Schedule: Full-Time | Onsite Position Summary Impact Staffing International is seeking a Doer/Seller Project Manager to join our client in a high-impact leadership role responsible for both driving revenue growth and executing profitable projects. This individual will develop client relationships, secure new business, and successfully manage projects from preconstruction through closeout. The ideal candidate is a builder-minded relationship developer who thrives in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment and understands the complexity of working in occupied, sensitive, and mission-critical facilities. This role owns both the top line (sales) and bottom line (project performance) for their portfolio. Business Development Develop and maintain relationships with clients to generate negotiated and repeat business. Proactively identify upcoming projects and position our client early in the sales cycle. Conduct client office visits, jobsite walks, and relationship-building activities. Attend industry events, association meetings, and networking functions to expand business opportunities. Maintain a healthy project backlog while improving the ratio of negotiated versus hard-bid work. Meet individual annual revenue growth objectives. Preconstruction & Estimating Participate in project walks and scope reviews. Develop conceptual budgets and ROM (Rough Order of Magnitude) pricing. Assist with scope clarification and value engineering. Ensure proposals are accurate, complete, and strategically positioned. Project Management Manage projects from contract award through closeout. Review contracts and perform project risk analysis. Develop project budgets, cost codes, schedules, and milestone tracking. Coordinate subcontractors and vendors throughout project execution. Manage client communication and expectations. Identify, negotiate, and capture change orders. Oversee project closeout and final billing. Occupied Environment Management Coordinate project phasing plans to minimize disruption to occupied facilities. Manage site protocols while maintaining a strong safety culture. Ensure compliance with all safety requirements and promote a zero-incident environment. Maintain professionalism while working around building occupants and stakeholders. Financial Management Deliver projects at or above targeted gross margin. Forecast monthly project revenue and costs. Maintain accurate Work-in-Progress (WIP) reporting. Control labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs. Aggressively manage change orders and billing cycles. Leadership Lead field teams, including Superintendents, Foremen, and Labor personnel. Partner with Estimating, Safety, and Accounting throughout project execution. Conduct preconstruction and project kickoff meetings. Develop project-specific safety and logistics plans. Mentor Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers, when applicable. Qualifications Proven experience managing commercial construction or demolition projects from preconstruction through closeout. Strong business development experience with the ability to develop client relationships and generate negotiated work. Experience managing project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, vendors, and client relationships. Knowledge of conceptual estimating, scope development, value engineering, and proposal preparation. Experience working in occupied, sensitive, or mission-critical environments. Strong financial management skills, including WIP reporting, forecasting, cost control, and change order management. Demonstrated leadership experience managing field personnel and coordinating cross-functional teams. Preferred Attributes Relationship-driven business developer with a builder's mindset. Ability to climb stairs, ladders, scaffolding, and navigate uneven terrain safely. Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and reach throughout the workday. Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions, as well as in occupied commercial facilities.
