In this role, you will be responsible for welding and assembling structural components with precision and adherence to safety standards. Responsibilities * Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine welding requirements and procedures. * Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas) welding techniques on various structural steel components. * Prepare materials using hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters. * Use precision measuring tools to ensure accurate cuts, welds, and assemblies according to specifications. * Set up and operate cranes, forklifts, rigging equipment, and other machinery necessary for lifting and positioning heavy structural elements safely. * Follow AWS codes & standards for welding procedures and quality assurance during fabrication and assembly processes. * Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols, conducting routine inspections, and properly handling hazardous materials. Skills * Extensive construction site experience with a strong understanding of safety practices in industrial environments. * Proficiency in MIG, plasma cutting, and welding techniques. * Ability to read complex blueprints, schematics, mechanical drawings, and schematics with confidence. * Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and other precision measurement devices. * Mechanical knowledge * Experience with rigging operations involving cranes or forklifts for lifting heavy components safely. * Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tolerances.
