Job Summary The Welder/Fitter position is responsible for welding and fitting metal components according to specifications, ensuring high‑quality standards and adherence to safety protocols. Key Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Perform welding operations using various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick, etc.). Fit and assemble metal components using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment. Inspect and test welded joints to ensure they meet quality standards. Maintain and repair welding equipment as needed. Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within specifications. Other job duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Certification in welding from a recognized institution. Proven experience as a Welder/Fitter in a similar role. Proficiency in various welding techniques and equipment. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Strong attention to detail and quality. Good physical stamina and manual dexterity. Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently. Ability to stand, bend, stoop, kneel throughout the shift. #J-18808-Ljbffr
