$24/hour + 5% commission | Approximately 20 hours/week | Weekday mornings

Help bring Shawarma House catering to more tables across San Diego. We are a family-owned Mediterranean restaurant looking for a part-time Catering Sales Representative who enjoys meeting people, building relationships, and turning conversations into repeat catering orders.

You will connect with local offices, medical practices, law firms, biotech and tech teams, and event organizers through phone, email, and in-person outreach. You will work directly with the owner to help customers plan office lunches, team gatherings, and events.

Schedule and compensation

• $24/hour, paid for all hours worked

• Earn 5% commission on each of the first 10 direct catering orders from every new account you bring in. Commission is paid after each order is paid and fulfilled.

• Approximately 20 hours per week, generally Tuesday-Friday during weekday mornings

• $0.76 per approved business mile, plus approved parking and toll reimbursement

• $35/month mobile reimbursement

What you will do

• Find and connect with local businesses and event organizers who need catering

• Introduce our Mediterranean catering through calls, emails, local business visits, and consistent follow-up

• Learn what each customer needs, including guest count, event date, location, and budget

• Work with the owner on quotes and help customers move from their first inquiry to a booked order

• Follow up after orders and build relationships that bring customers back

• Keep clear records of contacts, conversations, and next steps in our shared sales tracker

What makes you a good fit

• 1+ year of experience in B2B sales, catering, restaurants, hospitality, events, or outside sales

• You enjoy meeting new people and feel comfortable starting conversations with potential customers

• You communicate clearly by phone and email and follow through on commitments

• You are organized, comfortable tracking leads, and able to manage your time independently

• You have reliable transportation for local business visits
