A highly respected and growing public accounting firm is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join its Woodland Hills team in a dynamic, client-facing leadership role. This opportunity is ideal for a technically strong CPA who enjoys building relationships, solving complex tax challenges, and helping drive business growth within an entrepreneurial environment.

This role blends advanced tax expertise with strategic advisory work, offering exposure to sophisticated clients, high-level planning initiatives, and complex transactional matters. Youll work closely with business owners, high-net-worth individuals, and leadership teams while helping shape long-term tax strategies and providing proactive financial guidance.

The position involves managing and reviewing complex tax engagements across corporations, partnerships, LLCs, trusts, and individual clients. Youll also lead tax planning initiatives, support mergers and acquisitions activity, advise on entity structuring and restructuring strategies, prepare and review tax provisions and consolidated filings, and act as a trusted advisor to clients navigating complex financial decisions.

Beyond technical delivery, this role plays an important part in mentoring junior staff, supporting practice growth initiatives, strengthening client relationships, and contributing to the overall strategic direction of the firm.

Qualifications:

• Active CPA license required
• Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Tax, Finance, or related field required
• 5+ years of public accounting tax experience preferred
• Strong expertise in:
  • Tax provisions and consolidations
  • Tax planning and strategy
  • Transactional tax matters
  • Corporate, partnership, LLC, trust, and individual taxation
• Experience advising on mergers, acquisitions, restructurings, and entity planning
• Excellent communication, leadership, and client relationship management skills
• Proven ability to manage engagements and mentor junior staff
• Outgoing, entrepreneurial mindset with strong networking and business development capabilities
• Strong technical problem-solving and advisory skills
