Controls Installer

We are a building automation and controls integration company. We install, program, and service the systems that run heating, cooling, and building operations for hospitals, universities, and institutional facilities across the Texas Gulf Coast. We're a small, tight team that values showing up, doing quality work, and treating people right.

You'll work alongside our experienced technicians and integrators, learning the controls trade from the ground up. This is hands-on field work: you'll run conduit, pull wire, mount devices, and help bring systems online.

Responsibilities:

•    Bend, cut, and install EMT conduit to plan and code

•    Install conduit supports, boxes, and fittings

•    Pull and terminate low-voltage control wiring

•    Mount and wire controllers, sensors, actuators, relays, and panels

•    Read basic drawings and installation details

•    Help with start-up, checkout, and troubleshooting under technician direction

•    Keep tools, materials, and job sites organized and safe

•    Working around occupied buildings, including healthcare facilities, with professionalism

(Not Required)

•    Electrical or trade school coursework, or apprenticeship experience

•    Prior experience in electrical, HVAC, or construction work

•    Basic understanding of electrical safety (OSHA 10 or similar)

•    Comfort with a laptop or tablet

Qualifications:

•    Ability to bend conduit (offsets, saddles, 90s, and kicks) cleanly and accurately. This is required.

•    Basic hand and power tool skills

•    Willingness to learn controls, wiring, and building systems

•    Ability to climb ladders, work in mechanical rooms and ceiling spaces, and lift 50 lbs

•    Reliable, on time, and a good teammate

•    Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

•    Able to pass a background check and drug screen (required for access to many of our facilities)
