Dental Sterilization Technician

Located in Chandler, AZ, is seeking a dedicated Dental Sterilization Technician / Dental Hygiene Assistant (X-ray Certified Preferred) to join our team.

Responsibilities:
- Perform duties of both a Dental Sterilization Technician and Dental Assistant
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory and operatories
- Properly disinfect and sterilize all instruments
- Prepare and set up instrument trays (mirror, explorer, syringe, gauze, etc.)
- Sterilize handpieces and clean air/water syringes
- Monitor and restock operatory supplies
- Pour and trim dental models
- Assist with patient seating and treatment room setup
- Take and develop dental X-rays (FMX, BWX)
- Ensure cases are ready for pickup
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Ability to perform both sterilization and dental assistant duties
- Experience taking dental X-rays (FMX and BWX) required
- Knowledge of dental office practices and equipment
- Up to 1 year of dental office experience OR related classroom training (biology, chemistry, health, or dental assisting coursework)
- Experience with room turnover and instrument sterilization preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established protocols
- Ability to work effectively with team members and the public
