Frank Darling is a female-founded fine jewelry brand making custom engagement rings feel exciting, personal, and refreshingly human. Known for our modern design and sustainability-minded approach, we've been featured in Vogue, WSJ, Bloomberg, Glossy, and more.

We're hiring a Senior Social Media & Content Manager to own Frank Darling's voice, content, and community across social. This is a highly visible role for someone with fine jewelry experience — someone who can become a credible, knowledgeable face of the brand, teach our community something new in every piece of content, and move fast on culture and trends. You'll set the content strategy and calendar, produce and direct standout content (including for paid), and make our community management feel like a genuine extension of the Frank Darling experience.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Content Strategy & Calendar

• Own the social content calendar end to end — themes, formats, cadence, and tentpoles tied to launches, collections, and cultural moments

• Bring a strategic, data-informed lens to what we post and when; use performance data to continually optimize format, timing, and topics

• Spot trends early and act on them immediately, translating them into on-brand content

Content Creation & Production

• Film and edit original content — from polished brand pieces to fast, native-feeling short-form video

• Create ongoing content series that build a loyal, returning audience (education, behind-the-scenes, in-office culture, real proposals, etc.)

• Produce content for paid social in collaboration with our media agency, understanding what performs as an ad versus organic

• Build genuinely educational content around diamonds and fine jewelry — the kind that requires real category knowledge

Community Management

• Be the first, fast, authentic voice responding to our community across platforms — in true Frank Darling voice

• Turn community management into a growth lever: spotting content ideas, FAQs, and superfans within the conversation

Reporting & Optimization

• Report on social performance (growth, engagement, content-type performance, follower quality) with clear takeaways

• Continually refine the content mix based on what's actually working

Culture & Guerilla Activations

• Dream up and help execute scrappy, attention-grabbing content moments

• Make the most of our showroom/office culture as a content engine — team, designers, dogs, diamonds!

Influencer Program Oversight

• Set the criteria and taste bar for which creators and partnerships are a fit for Frank Darling, working from a clear point of view on why a partnership matters

• Review and approve deals sourced and coordinated

• Decide which creator content gets repurposed for paid social, in collaboration with our media agency

• Keep a commercial lens on the program — usage rights, performance of creator content in paid, and where to double down or pull back

Requirements and Experience:

• 5+ years in social media management or content creation, ideally with at least some of that in jewelry, fashion, beauty, or another taste-driven, visual category

• A demonstrated eye for elevated, editorial-quality content — you understand premium positioning instinctively, not just aesthetically

• A strong personal or professional point of view on trends — you don't wait to be told what's working

• Hands-on filming and editing skills (comfortable with platforms like CapCut); happy to be on camera or direct others who are

• Strategic fluency with content calendars, reporting, and using data to make creative decisions

• Excellent, brand-appropriate community voice

• A self-starter who thrives with autonomy and doesn't need hand-holding

• Genuine enthusiasm for jewelry/diamonds, or a fast willingness to become fluent in it

Nice to Have:

• Existing relationships with jewelry, fashion, or lifestyle media/creators

• Experience producing content specifically for paid social (not just organic)

• GIA or other jewelry/gemology education

Job Details:

• Full-time on-site role located in Tribeca

• Sits within the Marketing team, reporting to the Director of Marketing

• Salary: $80–120K
