Regional Sales Manager – Public Safety Technology (Remote)Position Summary The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for driving new business growth by selling mission-critical software solutions to Law Enforcement agencies, including Sheriff’s Offices and Police Departments. This role will manage a defined territory, develop new customer relationships, and lead prospects through the full sales lifecycle from discovery through contract execution.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software/technology sales within the Public Safety industry, a proven ability to sell complex solutions, and established relationships with law enforcement decision-makers. This is a remote-based position with candidates required to reside within the assigned territory’s time zone.Key Responsibilities

• Prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities within the Law Enforcement market
• Manage the full sales cycle, including discovery calls, virtual presentations, software demonstrations, proposals, negotiations, and contract execution
• Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through proactive prospecting and relationship development
• Learn and effectively communicate the value of mission-critical public safety technology solutions
• Develop relationships with key decision-makers including Sheriffs, Police Chiefs, Command Staff, CIOs, CTOs, 911 Directors, and other public safety leaders
• Understand agency technology needs, funding priorities, and purchasing processes to influence buying decisions
• Respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs)
• Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and public safety events as needed
• Maintain accurate CRM records, opportunity tracking, forecasting, and reporting
• Consistently achieve or exceed assigned sales quotasRequired Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Technology, or related field preferred; equivalent sales experience considered
• 5+ years of successful software solution sales experience selling into Police Departments, Sheriff’s Offices, or Public Safety agencies
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
• Experience managing multi-state territories
• Strong understanding of Public Safety technology solutions and law enforcement purchasing environments
• Existing network of relationships within Law Enforcement/Public Safety agencies preferred
• Experience conducting virtual software presentations and demonstrations
• Ability to manage complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Ability to quickly learn new technology platforms and competitive positioning
• Ability to work independently in a remote environmentTechnical Skills
• Experience using CRM systems for opportunity management, forecasting, and reporting
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
