Registered Nurse (RN)

This is a travel nursing position in an inpatient rehabilitation unit. The role guarantees a minimum of 48 hours per week, with a start date of December 14.

Unit Information

Number of Beds: 30 (two 15-bed units)

Patient Ratios: 1:5

Unit Staffing: Patient Care Technicians (PCT) available when census is 9 or above; no unit secretary

Type of Equipment: Gait belts, patient alarms, patient lifts

Documentation System: Meditech

Scheduling Requirements: Three 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends

Floating Policy: Agency staff will float first

Patient Experience Requirements

All nursing staff are expected to contribute to a positive patient experience through compassionate care and effective communication.

Qualifications

Required Skills: Medical/Surgical experience is mandatory; rehabilitation experience is a plus.

Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Dress Code: Navy blue scrub top, navy blue or black bottoms.

Work Environment: The role requires a commitment to teamwork and collaboration in a fast-paced inpatient rehabilitation setting. Staff members are responsible for comprehensive patient care, including assessment, treatment planning, and patient education.
