We are looking for a Manager, Corporate Communications to own and protect our enterprise narrative across internal and external audiences.

This is a player-coach role. You will lead a small, high-performing team while partnering closely with senior leadership to ensure our voice is consistent, credible, and aligned to business priorities in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.

This is a hybrid position based out of our Global HQ in Rosemont, IL - M/F remote and T-Th are in-office collaboration days. # LI-HYBRID

As Manager, Corporate Communications, you will:

• Own and protect the enterprise narrative and reputation , ensuring consistency across functions, regions, and leadership communications
• Partner closely with the C-suite , shaping executive messaging and supporting high-impact communications
• Lead public relations and external communications , including media engagement, press materials, and agency management
• Lead and develop a high-performing team , overseeing social and content while setting clear direction and standards
• Oversee corporate social and digital communications , ensuring content is aligned, effective, and performance-driven
• Drive internal communications , supporting organizational change, leadership visibility, and employee alignment
• Collaborate cross-functionally , aligning with Marketing, HR, Legal, and business leaders to deliver clear, consistent communication

What Life Fitness / Hammer Strength is looking for in our Manager, Corporate Communications:

• 6 to 8 years of experience in communications, public relations, or related fields
• Experience leading a team and operating as both a strategist and executor
• Strong executive presence with experience supporting C-suite communications
• Experience in a private equity-backed or similarly fast-paced, performance-driven environment preferred
• Exceptional writing and storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex topics
• Strong judgment, attention to detail, and ability to operate under pressure
• Familiarity with media, social, and digital channels, including performance and analytics

At Life Fitness / Hammer Strength, we believe in taking care of our team with a comprehensive total rewards package that includes competitive pay and a range of valuable benefits. The salary range for this position, intended for U.S. applicants, is $93,000 - $135,900 annually.The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities. The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of Rosemont, IL and the actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location.This position is eligible to participate in Life Fitness / Hammer Strength's annual Manager Incentive Plan to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of bonus varies based on company and individual performance goals and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
