RESPONSIBILITIES

• Generate new business through outbound calls, lead follow-up, referrals, and relationship building.
• Educate customers on life and health insurance options based on their individual needs and goals.
• Present insurance options, explain coverage & product features, overcome objections, and confidently ask for the sale.
• Maintain consistent follow-up with prospects and customers while meeting established sales and activity goals.
• Conduct needs-based conversations to identify opportunities for life, health, auto, and fire insurance products.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Licensing: Active Michigan Life & Health Insurance License required.
• Sales-Minded: Comfortable prospecting, recommending products, asking for the sale, and working toward measurable production goals.
• Self-Sufficient: Takes initiative, follows through, and works independently without requiring constant supervision.
• Communication Skills : Communicates clearly and professionally, builds rapport quickly, and can explain insurance products in an understandable way
• Drive : Exhibits a strong motivation to achieve goals, continuously seeks improvement, and demonstrates a proactive approach to challenges.
• Coachability & Accountability: Receptive to feedback, willing to follow established sales processes, and takes ownership of individual results.

Compensation: $30,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year

About Our Agency

• Our mission is to help people manage the risks of everyday life, recover from the unexpected and realize their dreams.
• We help customers with their insurance and financial services needs, including Auto Insurance, Home Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement Planning, Business Insurance, College Planning, Health Insurance, and Renters Insurance.
• Before becoming a State Farm Agent, I was previously employed as a State Farm Agent Team Member.
• We currently have 4 team members at our agency.
• We have 12 years of combined insurance experience in our office.
• Our agency has received awards including: Chairman's Circle, Ambassador Travel, Legion of Honor, Senior Vice President's Club, and New Agent Program Qualifier
