May operate program welding machine to weld production units and also assist machine welding operator in program welding higher volume production units when workload requires it. Welds must pass destructive and non-destructive testing based on certification requirements per individual product. Must maintain individual welding qualification and certification per product requirements. Sets up fixtures and lays out work for production and prototype piece parts. Performs work of a miscellaneous nature as required. For This Role, You Will Need Three (3) years of welding experience and a High School diploma or General Equivalency Degree (GED), OR One (1) year of welding experience and verified completion of a Welding certificate program Must obtain and maintain applicable company welding certifications. Solid work history showing record of dependability Must be 18 years of age Authorized to work in the United States Positions are contingent upon the passing a pre-employment screening Physical requirements Must be able to stand for 80% of the shift Be able to frequently move equipment and products weighing up to 25 pounds Communicate in English without an interpreter Salary $60,000-70,000 annually Work Schedule Friday-Sunday, 5:30 AM - 6:00 PM Work Authorization Emerson will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States.
