Registered Nurse Telemetry

12-hour night shifts from 18:45 to 07:15, working 3 shifts per week.

Contract lengths of 13 weeks or longer with guaranteed 36 hours per week.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar unit with knowledge of patient ratios and acuity.

Experience with IV starts and telemetry, pre and post-procedure care for cardiac patients, and administering cardiac drips.

Certifications required: ACLS, BCLS, and NIH.

Comfortable working with up to 6 patients and the ability to float as needed.

Provide stable pre/post care for cardiac procedures and manage patients on cardiac drips.

Monitor patients with unstable angina, chest pain, heart failure, and dysrhythmias.

Run multiple drips including Cardizem, Dopamine, and Amiodarone.

Assist with admissions and discharges while managing patient assignments in a fast-paced environment.

Travelers must be available for a 36-hour orientation week. RTO is limited to a maximum of 7 days for auto offers, and there is no block scheduling. Dress code includes navy or white scrubs, and jackets should match in material and color.
