Cloud Site Engineer

Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to lead the migration of on‑prem applications to the cloud and to maintain cloud applications. This hands‑on role involves design, coding, implementation of Azure infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines, reliability engineering, monitoring, and incident response. The position requires experience in Azure cloud continuous integration and delivery, infrastructure automation, and site reliability engineering. Responsibilities DevOps Support for Software Development and Testing Set up infrastructure environments on the cloud using an infra‑as‑code approach Migrate on‑prem applications to the cloud Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for the application Set up monitoring and alerting solutions for the application Deliver corresponding code and scripts Manage suppliers to ensure delivery of IT services Support application devops lifecycle Perform POC with new technology solutions recommended by architects (50%) Site Reliability Engineering Support for Application Provide L3 support for production incidents Maintain application, infrastructure, and devops pipelines Monitor application and infrastructure Collaborate with developers in testing and fixing bugs Onboard APIs to OneAPI/Kong gateway for the application Perform database data refresh to lower environments from the production environment (40%) Communication Support Guide developers and quality assurance engineers on how to use the software environment Communicate with upstream and downstream IT teams to ensure smooth application development and operations Provide on‑call support for the application when needed (10%) Qualifications Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. at the time of application. Relocation assistance will not be provided for this position. Minimum of 8 years of overall work experience. Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ‑104) Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ‑400) Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate GitHub Actions Certification Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ‑305) Education Bachelor's Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred. Recommended majors: Computer/Information Science, Information Technology. Additional Knowledge Experience setting up and managing environments on Azure using Terraform. Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and FluxCD. Experience in on‑prem to cloud migration. Containerization of applications using Kubernetes. Experience with monitoring and alerting solutions such as Azure Monitor and Datadog. Experience in DevOps and site reliability engineering. Familiarity with Azure services: Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure FrontDoor, Azure Storage, Azure Virtual Network, Azure Postgres, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Kong. Familiarity with devops tools: GitHub Enterprise, FluxCD, Helm, Kustomize, Terraform, Datadog, Jira, Confluence. Familiarity with security and compliance practices such as Microsoft Cloud Security Benchmark, Coverity, BlackDuck, Wiz.
