A/R Representative
Location: Chesterfield, MO 
Summary:
Join a dynamic team as an Accounts Receivable Representative supporting a prominent client through specialized A/R audit and project-based work. Initial focus on auditing medical claims, coding, and reviewing Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) for errors. Successful completion of the project may lead to a full-time role, with responsibilities centered around overturning denied claims by communicating with insurance carriers, submitting appeals, and enhancing client collections. Work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, with opportunities to develop skills in medical billing and claims management. Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in medical billing or accounts receivable
• Proficiency with Epic or NextGen software preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Organized with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, competitive environment
• Self-motivated with a sense of urgency and professionalism

Responsibilities:

• Contact insurance payers to clarify claim denials or payment issues
• Review and analyze claim statuses using multiple practice management systems and portals
• Draft and submit appeals to overturn denied or underpaid claims
• Respond promptly to client inquiries regarding unpaid claims
• Collaborate with team members and leadership to improve client collections
• Prioritize work queues for maximum efficiency
• Participate in team and client meetings to support project objectives
• Maintain positive morale and build professional relationships in a remote/hybrid setting
