Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations within the surgical services department
• Support and coordinate staffing schedules, assignments, and workflow management

• Promote compliance with nursing standards, policies, and regulatory requirements
• Ensure safe and effective patient care delivery throughout the surgical process
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing leaders, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Monitor quality outcomes and support patient safety initiatives
• Assist with patient flow, care coordination, and transitions across the continuum of care
• Participate in operational planning, process improvement, and departmental projects
• Provide direct patient care and clinical support as needed

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license or eligibility for licensure
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Previous operating room nursing experience required
• Prior leadership, charge nurse, or supervisory experience required
• Perioperative nursing certification preferred
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and team development skills
• Ability to lead effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment
