Employment Attorney

Employment Attorney We are seeking a skilled Employment Attorney to join our litigation team. Our firm focuses its work in four areas where business decisions routinely create the greatest risk and legal exposure: employee compensation, privacy and data protection, corporate fraud and whistleblowing, discrimination and harassment. Key Responsibilities Represent clients in employment litigation from intake through trial, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery requests Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on federal and state employment laws (e.g., Title VII, ADA, FLSA, NLRA) and counsel clients on compliance Manage case strategy and client communications, including client counseling, settlement negotiations, and mediation Prepare for and conduct depositions, hearings, and trials; present evidence and examine witnesses in court Draft and negotiate settlement agreements, employment contracts, severance packages, and compensation arrangements Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop litigation plans, share knowledge, and support business development efforts Maintain accurate case files, billing records, and meet firm productivity and ethical standards Qualifications Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction 3+ years of litigation experience, with demonstrated trial experience preferred Proven experience handling employment law matters, including claims brought by employees Strong knowledge of employment and labor laws, regulations, and precedent governing wage and hour, discrimination, retaliation, and compensation disputes Excellent oral advocacy, written communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to draft persuasive briefs and motions Track record of effective client counseling, case management, and settlement negotiations Ability to manage a docket of cases, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Professionalism, sound judgment, and commitment to ethical practice Benefits Medical, Vision, Dental 401k PTO #J-18808-Ljbffr CyberCoders
