Staff Accountant / Fiscal Accounting / Governmental Accounting
Marathon Staffing is hiring a Staff Accountant for a role in Denton, TX . We welcome applications from all qualified individuals, including people of all genders, backgrounds, and abilities.
What you’ll do
- Support fiscal and accounting activities with a focus on governmental accounting practices
- Assist with month-end and year-end accounting tasks and reconciliations
- Help maintain accurate financial records and support reporting needs
- Review and process accounting transactions to ensure proper documentation
- Collaborate with internal teams to support compliance and audit readiness
What we’re looking for
- Experience in accounting, fiscal accounting, and/or governmental accounting preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfort working with financial data and reconciling accounts
- Professional communication and a team-oriented mindset
