Job Description
Title
ER Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Schedule
Primary shift: Nights (may fluctuate to days based on unit needs)
Weekends: Required - minimum every other weekend

Assignment Details
Daily census: ~10-15

Requirements
- Valid RN license required at time of submission
- Minimum 1 year RN experience
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, TNCC, PALS
- Preferred certification: NRP
- Experience with charting system: Epic

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a rural emergency department setting.
- Conduct triage and assess patient needs promptly.
- Manage airway issues and perform intubation as necessary.
- Administer IV medications and manage vasopressors.
- Monitor and support patients on ventilators.
- Administer blood products and provide pediatric emergency care.

Compliance / Notes
- Orientation: 12 hours
- Pre-approved time off: 2 (per contract)
- Travelers' refusal to float may result in termination or forfeiture of guaranteed hours.
