This role is a crucial part of our practice, providing comprehensive support to our attorneys in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation support, a deep understanding of federal and state court procedures, and a passion for detail-oriented work.Essential Job FunctionsAssisting attorneys in the preparation and filing of pleadings, motions, and briefs.Conducting in-depth legal research and analysis on various insurance matters.Reviewing and summarizing medical records, depositions, and other case-related documents.Coordinating and managing timelines for various cases, ensuring all deadlines are met.Organizing and maintaining case files, including managing electronic databases and physical records.Assisting with trial preparation, including the creation of exhibits, witness preparation, and coordination of logistics.Communicating with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and experts as necessary.Providing administrative support to attorneys, including scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars, and drafting correspondence.Necessary Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesExcellent interpersonal and organizational skills and the ability to work successfully with multiple team members, interacting with employees at all levels of the organization.Competent to handle a variety of activities with attention to detail and quality, with the ability to follow through and follow up, and adapt to quickly meet changing deadlines and priorities.Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.Ability to complete multiple tasks and a high volume of work on short deadlines and follow through on assigned tasks with limited supervision.Retain a high level of flexibility and resourceful problem solving.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality.Educational and Experience RequirementsHigh School Diploma requiredParalegal Certificate requiredPrior litigation experience requiredWork Environment and Physical DemandsAbility to work extended hours when necessary.Normal office environment; no unusual physical demands.
