Automation Industrial Engineer Location: Ontario, California, USA. The position is on-site in the sunshine state of California. What you will be doing Design and implement automated systems and automation framework settings Design and define system architecture for new or existing computer systems Develop or modify programs in C/C#/C++ Develop automation scripts in Perl and Ruby Coordinate system development, including design, modeling, security, integration, and testing Identify, develop, and implement new processes to improve productivity and efficiency in our manufacturing operations Identify and resolve issues using existing or potential solutions Create detailed road maps to guide automation projects from initial conception to final implementation Manage and document system configurations Support and upgrade existing automation technology Create and maintain technical documentation Provide technical support and training as needed What you will bring Minimum of 5 years of experience in production planning Experience with C# and WinForms building desktop programs Experience with Serial Communication and Interfacing to various equipment Experience with Micro-controller development (Arduino) Experience with electronic circuits Experience with purchasing, planning, scheduling, and materials management systems Good verbal and written communication skills Good Microsoft Office skills SAP and manufacturing environment preferred Rate of Pay $31–$35 per hour Benefits Vishay offers a comprehensive suite of benefit programs including health care coverage, financial support programs, and other resources designed to help you achieve your personal and professional goals.
