Position Summary

The Dishwasher plays a critical role in keeping kitchen operations running efficiently. This position is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, organization, and sanitation standards while supporting the kitchen team behind the scenes.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout kitchen areas
• Organize and properly store clean dishes, supplies, and equipment
• Assist with trash removal and recycling procedures
• Support kitchen staff with basic preparation and organizational tasks as needed
• Keep dishwashing and back-of-house areas clean and safe
• Help maintain inventory organization and storage areas
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety guidelines
• Assist with opening, closing, and cleaning procedures

Qualifications

• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team
• Attention to cleanliness and organization
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds when necessary
• Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is helpful but not required
