MRI Technologist
Massachusetts Hospital Association
Role: MRI Technologist providing safe, high-quality imaging services in a patient-centered environment. Responsibilities: Perform a variety of MRI procedures, prepare equipment, position patients, and obtain diagnostic images following established protocols. Ensure patient safety, privacy, and comfort, including contrast administration and emergency response. Maintain equipment, document procedures accurately, and transmit images promptly. Assist with patient care, support departmental staff, and uphold safety and infection control standards. Perform clerical tasks, restock supplies, and ensure a clean MRI suite. Take call as needed and adhere to hospital policies and regulatory standards. Qualifications & Skills: Minimum 1-year clinical MRI experience, ARMRIT or ARRT-MR certification, BLS certification. Excellent communication, customer service, and multitasking skills required. Ability to work independently, handle stress, prioritize tasks, and collaborate effectively with teams. Knowledge of MRI techniques, anatomy, pathology, and safety protocols essential.
