Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Rotating Day/Mid Shifts (07:00–19:30 / 11:00–23:30) | 3x12 or 4x12 Hours | Every Other Weekend Required | Holidays Required as Scheduled

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting for patients across all age ranges, from infant to geriatric
• Manage a patient assignment of up to 1:4 ratio, with potential for 1:5 with lower acuity patients
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients presenting with complex, multi-system diagnoses
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective emergency care delivery
• Float within the ED specialty and to sister ED facilities as needed based on departmental staffing requirements
• Adhere to all facility compliance, scheduling, and departmental policies throughout the duration of the contract

Required Qualifications

• Active Maryland RN license or valid Compact RN license at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association only)
• Current PALS certification (American Heart Association only)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• CPI certification required (Calm Every Storm online version is the only accepted online vendor; may be completed during onboarding)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NRP certification (NRP or AAP accepted)
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification
• Experience floating across multiple emergency department settings
