SUMMARY: The position of Construction Coordinator has been established to assist with field operations and construction. Facilitates communication with customers and AHJ’s to ensure projects are energized and closed in a timely manner with the lingering job site issues. Ensures implementation and prescribed activities are carried out in accordance with Baker Home Energy’s specified objectives for the successful completion of the project. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Support projects by providing administrative and clerical support, completing special projects, and working with the entire construction team. Manage field job completion emails. Per job completion email, close construction task and push project into inspection or create project issue. Own all project issues, Push for resolution to get project completed, inspected and closed in a timely manner. Schedule issues and assign technician based on issue type. Immediate contact person for any customers reaching out in the issue or inspection phase of their project Push Inspection team, to complete inspections in a timely manner Verify all photos are uploaded and ready for MI finance approval Schedule onsite customer walks / orientations if requested by homeowner after energizing Assist with customer monitoring issues. Contact Customers after PTO to verify full project completion. Back up to Construction Manager for construction scheduling / man power assignment Handle all construction schedule changes. Job push outs or pulling up projects to keep schedule full. Own customer communication for changes. Coordinate restrooms for construction only projects. Back up - Direct to site ordering and scheduling Keep Issue tracking log, looking for repeat offenders, or certain repeating issues that may need to be brought up to vendors. Schedule service install projects in Service Titan (Projects without permits only) Close all Service install projects in Service Titan (Verify install completion, install notes are completed, photos are uploaded and project is paid in full) Perform overtime work as required and requested by supervisor to meet department and company needs. Perform any other tasks as needed. KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY: Project Closeout & Issue Resolution Own the post-installation phase of projects to ensure timely completion, inspection, energization, and closure. Customer Experience & Communications Own the post-installation phase of projects to ensure timely completion, inspection, energization, and closure. Inspection & Compliance Coordination Support successful project inspections and ensure all requirements are completed for project signoff. Construction Scheduling & Operational Support Provide administrative and scheduling support to maintain efficient field operations. Service Installation Administration Coordinate scheduling and closure of service-related installation projects. General Administrative Support Provide cross-functional support to ensure efficient department operations. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Some college preferred. Minimum 2+ years of administrative experience with a small to medium sized contractor is required. Must have excellent computer skills in MS Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, etc.). TECHNICAL SKILLS: Microsoft Suite skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, etc.) BEHAVIORAL SKILLS: (Utilize Skills Library. List highest to lowest priority.) Customer Service Oriented Collaboration and teamwork WORK ENVIRONMENT: Onsite PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Standard office environment. Individual will frequently be required to stand, walk, sit, talk, and hear. Occasionally may have to lift boxes full of materials for purposes of setup of programs, typically 25 pounds or less.
