Maintenance Technician

If you enjoy solving problems and working on both electrical and mechanical systems, this is a great opportunity to build a long-term career.What's In It For You?$30-$35/hr based on experienceConsistent overtime opportunitiesStable manufacturing environmentCareer growth and advancement opportunitiesWork with automated equipment and modern technologyStrong team-oriented cultureFull-time, long-term positionJob DutiesTroubleshoot and repair industrial production equipment.Perform preventive and emergency maintenance on machinery.Diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.Replace motors, bearings, gearboxes, sensors, and other machine components.Troubleshoot drives, controls, and automated equipment.Read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.Perform welding and light fabrication as needed.Complete maintenance work orders using a computerized maintenance system.Order and track replacement parts when necessary.Work closely with production teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.Follow all safety procedures while working around industrial machinery.Qualifications2+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.Strong electrical troubleshooting experience, including 480V systems.Experience working with motors, controls, sensors, and automated equipment.Mechanical troubleshooting experience with conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, and machinery.Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics.Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus.Welding and fabrication experience preferred.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.Job Type & LocationThis is a permanent position based out of Valparaiso, IN.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $72800.00/yr.
