Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. Operates Cold Forming equipment.

2. Performs set-up of Cold Forming equipment

3. Performs troubleshooting and basic machine repair.

4. Operates measurement and test equipment required to ensure that quality requirements are met.

5. Records statistical process control data.

6. Housekeeping

7. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations (e.g., addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).

8. Ability to follow and understand written and verbal instructions.

9. Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and written instructions.

10. Assists other operators with production activities such as component weight counting, lubing parts, changing oil in machines, parts movement between locations, logging, dumping pans of parts, etc.

11. Performs housekeeping duties on a regular basis as necessary.

12. Performs other duties as assigned.

5. Always maintains equipment and work area in a neat and orderly manner.

6. Maximizes equipment run time and material yield.

7. Accurately completes reports, logs, and other documentation.

8. Understands and consistently meets company, team, profile, and behavioral expectations.

9. Understands and follows Company policies and procedures.

10. Demonstrates proper use and care of hand tools.

11. Operates and follows all mobile equipment standards.

12. Performs visual, mechanical and process audits as required.

13. Utilizes statistical methods provided to monitor and control processes/equipment.

14. Understands how to access electronic information, including work instructions and procedures.

15. Participates in team environment and completes assignments for various functions including (but not limited to) EHS and continuous improvement.

Individuals must be able to demonstrate solid mathematical, measurement and mechanical aptitude abilities.

Individuals must be able to read/write/understand and communicate in English for all phases of training; including blueprints, specs, measurements; Having micrometer and/or caliper experience is a plus; We will train those who prove to have good math/measurement skills. Must have High School Diploma or GED certificate. Must be able to lift/carry up to 35lbs; climb stairs or steps; stand continuously.

Education and Experience

High School diploma and related experience.
