Senior Applications Administrator
Location: San Diego, CA
Length: 12+ month contract
Position Summary:
The position will be part of the Platform Services and Applications team. The selected candidate's responsibilities include planning and coordination, as well as software installation, configuration, testing, and documentation. Responsibilities also include ensuring high levels of service quality, availability, and solving complex technical problems.
Responsibilities:
-Install, configure, and support enterprise applications
-Setup and configure process and system monitors to track service availability and performance
-Service capacity and performance management
-Independently debug and resolve complex application issues and problems
-Develop and update scripts used to automate tasks and processes
Requirements:
-7+ years of experience with BI application administration and management
-7+ years of experience administering and supporting web and application servers including Apache, Tomcat, and IIS
-5+ years of experience administering and supporting IBM Cognos Analytics
-5+ years of experience administering and supporting Tableau Server
-3+ years of experience administering and supporting job scheduling systems such as BMC Control-M
-7+ years of experience administering and working on Linux and Windows Server operating systems
-5+ years of experience with scripting languages such as Shell, Power Shell, and Python
-3+ years of experience working with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, SAP HANA, AWS Redshift, and MySQL
-Experience with Informatica IICS, Denodo, IBM Planning Analytics, and SQL a plus
-Experience working with and running services on AWS including EC2 and storage solutions
-Experience working in regulated industries with FDA and SEC related change management processes a plus
