What You'll OwnLifecycle automationOwn and optimize existing tracks across both brands: post-quiz, abandoned cart, post-purchase, and returning customerAudit existing flows for performance, relevance, and accuracy rebuild or retire what isn't earning its placeBuild new tracks as products, audiences, and buying paths changeDevelop segmentation and personalization strategies that make each send feel like it was written for one personApply all of the above to SMS as much as email the two channels should work together, not duplicate each otherCampaigns and promotionsWrite, design, build, stage, and send monthly promotional campaigns and flash sales for both brands, pulling in our in-house designers when a send calls for itOwn the email and SMS calendar, keeping it aligned with promos, product drops, and sales priorities so the rest of the company can see what's going out and whenCoordinate with Sales and Customer Support so what customers read matches what they hear on the phoneProduct launchesPartner with product and marketing on launch planning you're a stakeholder in launches, not a downstream recipient of themBuild launch sequences that introduce new products, explain the problem they solve, and reach the segments most likely to buyTarget launch sends against existing customer and lead data rather than blasting the full listVoice and technical translationLearn our products well enough to explain them accurately pump curves, head pressure, panel sizing, wire runsTranslate that detail into plain language a first-time installer can act on. Most of our customers install these themselves, and many have never done it before.Keep visual and written execution consistent from website to email to SMS and keep the two brands sounding distinctly like themselvesPerformance and testingLead A/B testing across subject lines, creative, personalization, and send-time optimizationPull and review weekly performance reports, flag trends, and recommend tactical adjustmentsMaintain list health: subscriber growth, engagement, deliverability, and complianceRequirements3+ years in email marketing, lifecycle marketing, or marketing automationDemonstrated success managing lifecycle programs, including triggered flows and journey orchestrationHands-on experience running SMS campaignsProficiency with an ESP like Ortto (what we use) or KlaviyoStrong command of the fundamentals: targeting and segmentation, personalization, triggered automation, orchestrated journeys, and multivariate testingFamiliarity with deliverability best practices list hygiene, spam compliance, engagement monitoringComfort reading performance data and turning it into a recommendation, not just a reportAbility to manage multiple campaigns across two brands in a fast-moving environmentAn eye for design. You can mock up concepts yourself in HTML, Claude, or Canva or direct style and structure clearly enough that one of our in-house designers can run with it.Exceptional writing.
