About the Position

Must be willing to float to other units as needed. Must accept every other weekend shifts. Description: This position is for a registered nurse in the medical surgical specialty. The nurse will be responsible for managing all aspects of tracheostomy care and management. Support from respiratory therapy will be available if needed. The role involves interpretation and management of dysrhythmias. Candidates should have experience with peripheral line care and oxygen administration. Charting will be conducted using an electronic medical record system. The nurse will work a night shift schedule consisting of three 12-hour shifts per week. Candidates must have ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications. This position is open to both local and travel nurses. All first-time travelers are welcome to apply. Weekend shifts will be required every other week. Floating to different units may be necessary as per staffing needs. Candidates must be ready to provide safe and effective patient care. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills and teamwork. Professionalism and effective communication are vital for this role.
